Last weekend, I filmed my second wedding! It was a super fun day and I got a lot of great footage. I taught myself how to use a Ronin S gimbal which was pretty difficult, but I think it added significantly to the stability of my footage-- something my first video lacked as my tripod broke during filming. It also allowed me smooth movement which added to the visual interest of my clips. My next step is to get to editing and I also need to find music to pair with my footage. I expect this to be pretty time consuming, so I know I have to get moving! Overall, I am happy with my progress and am excited to take the next step!

Over the past few weeks, I have been preparing for my upcoming wedding on October 23rd! I've been organizing what equipment I will need, how long I will need it for, and other logistics that have to be worked out. I sorted the footage from the Reagan wedding into folders so it will be easier to pull footage from during the editing stage. Right now, I am planning on waiting to start editing until I have filmed the Lacia wedding as I do not want to try to do too many things at once and make mistakes. I'm looking forward to filming the wedding next weekend and am excited to meet with the other Severn Fellows tomorrow during lunch!
